Article 13. COPYRIGHTS
13.1 Copyrights and Patents. We do not own any rights in or to any patents which are material to the franchise. We presently have proprietary rights in numerous items, such as your manuals, systems, advertising designs, and the like relating to the operation of our business which are suitable for copyright protection. We reserve to ourselves or our designee any and all rights which we have in and to such items. We may obtain copyright registration on our confidential Confidential Business Operation Manual and any future manuals and may, at our discretion, obtain copyright registration for any now unregistered items that are a part of this agreement
