Article 5. TRAINING

5.1 Training.

At this juncture, I am requiring experienced restaurant owner/franchisees who will help me to set up Freakie Fries' menu, decor, operating manual  and training schedules.

 The Freakie Fries Franchise Association will determine, by majority vote among all the franchisees, the training fees that will be paid to associate trainer/franchisees from the trainee/franchisee. This training shall provide you and 1 designated person with training in operating the franchise as set forth in the following paragraphs, to enable you to independently operate your franchised business. You may train at the trainer's store or at your store or both according to what you and the trainer determine to be the best.

5.2 Training Programs. The Association may provide initial, mandatory and optional training programs. We may conduct training programs at our designated training facilities in various locations and at various times to be named by us.

5.3 Initial Training. Within 60 days of your schedule opening, we will provide to you and 1 acceptable designated person an initial training period of 5 business days at the trainer's Freakie Fries restaurant which will consist of at least 8 hours per day (including 1 hour for lunch) for 40 hours prior to the opening of the franchise and a minimum of 3 business days to a maximum 5 business days (24 hours to 40 hours) at your location upon your opening. The initial training will cover all aspects of the franchise operation and will include on-site training and some classroom training.

5.4 Failure to Complete Initial Training or Open. If you and your designated manager fail to complete the initial  training program to our satisfaction or to open by your scheduled opening date after training, we may terminate this agreement.

5.5 Training Program Completion. It is at my/our(The Association) sole discretion as to whether or not you and/or your designated manager have successfully completed a training program

5.6 Mandatory or optional Training Programs. We, at our discretion, will also provide from time to time mandatory and optional training programs on selling techniques, Services, preferred suppliers, management skills, subscriber service standards and other aspects of business operations which we believe are useful to franchisees. These programs will require a fee as set by majority Association vote.. All franchisees and new assignees must attend initial training.

 5.7 Additional and Special Training. Additional, mandatory, optional or special training may be requested by you. If you request additional or special training, and we agree, a charge for the special training may be required

5.8 Franchisee Training Expenses. You must pay all expenses incurred by you, your designated manager and your employees in connection with all training programs including, without limitation, the cost of travel, entertainment, room, board and wages for the duration of all training programs.
