Article 7. Obligations of Franchisee
7.1 Franchisee services. You shall offer a variety of fast food items including Montreal-Style steamed hot-dogs, french fries, smoked-meat sandwiches and other as yet to be developed low-calorie combo meals as specified in this franchise agreement, Confidential Business Operation Manual, and by our written directives. You shall offer services and products to the general public, shall maintain the highest professional and ethical standards, shall observe any preferred suppliers program requirements, and shall conduct no other business under our marks without our consent
7.2 Full Time Effort. You are obligated to devote your best efforts and dedicate a minimum of 25 hours to the management of the franchised business unless a designated manager is approved and accepted by us in writing. Corporate or partnership franchisees must designate an individual upon whom we may rely for the personal and direct management of the franchised business.
7.3 Advertising Approvals. You shall not permit any advertising to be published unless such material is furnished by or approved by us in writing. Any advertising request will be expedited by us within ten days. We do not currently grant you the right to use the name of a public figure or celebrity in your promotional efforts or advertising.
7.4 Employees. If you hire employees, you shall use your best efforts to properly train or procure qualified and competent personnel in keeping with the standards established by us through your Confidential Business Operation Manual and our periodic directives, including the standards set for all services and products sold by you.
7.5 Central Telephone Number. The central telephone number will be maintained by The Freakie Fries Franchise Association for your support, your customer’s support and catering leads would be dispersed by us to the appropriate qualified (for catering) franchise territory.
7.6 Administrative Codes. You and your employees shall adhere to any and all administrative codes at all times when serving a customer.
7.7 Quality Control and Purchases from Franchisor. You shall operate the franchised business in accordance with our standards of quality, production, appearance, cleanliness and service as prescribed by the Association and the forthcoming Confidential Business Operation Manual. You may be required to purchase certain proprietary marketing materials from us. The Confidential Business Operating Manual will be a living document.
7.8 Customer Service Policies. You shall conform to our customer service policies as set forth in the Confidential Business Operation Manual or as may be changed from time to time by us.
7.9 Customer Complaints. Any complaints from dissatisfied customers shall receive prompt attention. Whenever possible, you will initiate contact within 24 hours after a complaint is received. Should you be unable to equitably resolve the complaint within 7 days after the complaint, you will contact us for assistance in handling the complaint.
7.10 Permits and Licenses. You shall maintain all permits and licenses required for the operation of the franchised business.
7.11 Records and Reports. You shall maintain all county, state and federal records and reports and file them with the appropriate agency and provide copies of same to us. Also, all records and reports including monthly statements of sales, costs of operation, suppliers, and such records and reports as are required in this agreement and by the Confidential Business Manual must be filed expeditiously with us

Adherence to Franchisor’s Policies and Procedures. It is understood and agreed that |
a material part of our consideration granting your license to you, without which we would
not execute this agreement, is that you agree to adhere strictly to the specifications, methods, practices and systems established by us in our matters and written directives for the management, marketing and operation of the franchised business
7.13 Timely Fees Payable and Site Development. You are required to pay all fees herein and develop your site in a timely manner.
7.14 Supplier Qualifications. The purchase of required equipment and materials must meet our approval
7.15.Independent Access. You agree that we will have independent access to all information and data generated by you and your computer.
