The best economic stimulus package?....why Fire Ceremonies...of course!
back in 1992, I performed a Maha Yagya for the economy back then ....beginning, January and February back then...a trip to Fairfield Iowa to meditate with thousands there and a trip to the pyramid in Montreal....Nirvana broke out with Teen Spirit during that trip....the economy began to turn around during that trip and when I got back to Daytona, I began to pin up on the dining room wall, all the good economic news clippings....ended taking up all the wall and going two and three clippings deep ...and my wife of the time thought I lost it....by 1996, it had been called the most robust surge of economic prosperity ever...also by then, I lost my trophy-chic wife...God I miss her!
did my Maha yagya do it? or was it mere co-incidence?...perhaps a bit of both?
Fire Ceremonies are very powerful too...I didn't do Fire Ceremonies back then and I won't be able to make trips to Fairfield or Montreal...so let's see how effective Fire Ceremonies can be!
My desire to impress the Girls of Freakie Fries was the underlying motive back then and as well it is today. Girls from my teenage years...smells like teen spirit!

it is a very broad prayer which when repeated brings peace...it covers all your bases without the very hard work of articulating the details...awesome!
also express gratitude for all the nice things that you have...especially the stuff that can't be taken away from you...such as the beautiful times that you have had with relations that are meaningful to you...those precious times that will always be with you...

everywhere, around the world, all the various cultures have devised ways to enhance their spiritual connective ness with God...and this Gayatri Fire Ceremony ...my guess...is at or near the top
I use tea light candles for fire,
a small copper container for water which has the sacred syllable 'om' inscribed at the four sides though it is circular,
a tiny brass bell, which my friend, George, from 'Life Forces', a new age church that I attended in Flagler Beach,
a small brass statue of a meditating Buddha which I bought for fifteen dollars...I talked the store owner down from twenty five...in Montreal at a Hindu store
a poster of the Hindu Goddess, Lakshmi, which I bought off Purusha Tom, at the Spiritual Center, when it was at Boone North Carolina, which after two other posters that I had been given of her, which I gave away because I didn't want to risk having it damaged in the truck with me, and when Tom offered to give it to me as he was re-stringing my beads, ...I decided...that it was an omen for me to have Her poster and so , although he offered to give it to me, I went ahead and gave him twenty five or fifty dollars for it...and later when I got home, it was my intention to go buy a plexiglass front for it but there, in the tiny storage of the apartment where I lived with my boys, was a clear plexiglass, thick and just exactly the right size for the poster, which one of my sons had for building a sound system for his car, that he said he didn't need any more...and so I took it as further omen...

and finally, a 24 inch by 24 inch , quarter inch thick plywood , which I use as a table for all of the above
I recite various Sanskrit chants including and centered around the Gayatri chant
I used to do it every Wednesday and Sunday, but since November 11th, Veteran's Day, 2007, I began a Marathon for bringing our troops home, by doing one every day , although the other five days are abbreviated formats of the longer versions that I still do on Wednesdays and Sundays
as in everything, some days are more potent than others
and this action is designed , right now for a robust global economy...as only God...can do!

lots of opportunity, now, to appreciate some of the beautiful things about life that you were too busy "being successful" to appreciate
enjoy beautiful meditation...deep prayer to God...have lots of sex...enjoy being humble...
ahhh...even broke...life is good!....and you know it will come back...just as it had done so the last time
there is abundance in the idea that you can be happy with less as with more...there is happiness in that idea
who hasn't had an elder relative say some like "hah! back in the day...we walked ten miles to school...and had fifteen jobs to make ends meet..."

why! back in the day...we had only two television channels...no air bags...rotary dial phones...and were people happy...they looked happy!...
the economy is like a lung, breathing in and out, up and down ...
it is true however, that the rich and powerful have gotten so much more so in the last half century...and very little is being shared around the world...and that may be a contributing factor to the current problem
and the elected representatives are powerless to do anything about it...
also, energy and global warming are doing some damage...so an invention to fix that would be nice right about now...ahem...

here's a great analogy about the world's financial climate...just as, with global warming causing the melting of the ice caps, and the oceans to rise...and so it is conversely...that the wealthy ...extremely wealthy! few of the world are like massive glaciers with very little water to go around to the rest of the world
the world leaders lack the courage to face that problem...to fix the current laws that have been constantly being revised over time in favor of those very few wealthy...it was too easy for the wealthy to buy the votes in their favor
and as such...today...we are seeing the adverse consequences of it...the great divide between the haves and the have-nots has gotten greater
it would be up to the leaders to make the necessary changes but all the wealthy have to do is buy the votes when it comes to changing the laws...the draft resolutions are so ambiguous that it takes an Einstein to figure them out and clever lawmakers, who are on the take, are able to slip in items that would render the laws...even as they look to be in the favor of fairness to all the world...to be actually serving the wealthy even more!
the proof is in the pudding...look at all the impoverished people of the world...nothing has been done about it at all...
I would propose a wealth cap of say 1 billion dollars per person and the rest has to be used to benefit the world

or, a 1% annual 'net-worth tax' from all the people of the world, which would then be given over to an international entity that is elected, financed and mandated by all the world to distribute this fund towards eradicating poverty around the world...
for example, my net worth ...what I own versus what I owe...stands at about ten thousand dollars...and so 1% of ten thousand would be one hundred dollars which I would contribute
meanwhile, Bill Gates, who probably has a net worth of one billion, and one percent of that would be ten million dollars
and so , with all the people of the world contributing to this fund, we would be able to, quite quickly, eradicate poverty

some will lose everything and have to start over...but there are stories abound about people who have made it big from the ashes of such losses

sometimes...when life brings you to losing everything...then you find yourself in a position of nothing left to lose...that freedom...sometimes leads to bringing your mind and spirit to a place where you would not have come to otherwise because of the pressures of things...sometimes you will find some true values in that space
even when the sun sets, it is replaced by the moon and the stars, and you know that the sun will rise again
you make hay when the sun shines
you save it for a rainy day
you may ask "why would God bring me to this station in life?" and then be open to the answer
there must be a gadzillion books out there, about rags to riches to rags to riches...quite inspiring!
your expectations are too high...too low...you don't know?
allow beautiful meditation to silence the mind for you so that you may break away from the ideas that are causing you pain...ideas that life should have gone this way or that...allow beautiful meditation to provide emotional relief as you wait for the new ideas to come and drive your dreams
read about the successes of others...how much in common you have with them at their point of beginnings...their uncertainties, struggles
and see how things fell into place somehow magically
look at your semantics...there was a book titled 'why bad things happen to good people' which I immediately saw the problem...good people...it's automatic that if you think you are good, invariably, someone or something is going to disagree
I can tell you now that if you don't give 1% of your net worth per year, to an entity that is elected, financed and mandated by all the world, in order to eradicate poverty, you are not good but calloused and un-thoughtful, uncaring...in the eyes of a poor starving child somewhere...so the bad things that happen to good people are well deserved...no?!
you see what I mean...look at the semantics that you live by...make decisions by
you know that there are leaders today who run the show who have the power to implement such a program but they don't do it!...and their constituents don't ask for it...it is our duty and responsibility to share the world but we won't...as long as we are OK...don't bug me...you might say...and the powerless struggle...and the powerful pat themselves on the back for meager accomplishments
but then something like 911 happens and everyone cries to God...how could You let this happen to us!? but at that moment, there were some of us who having suffered for the longest time felt like God has answered their prayer...
everyone on this planet could ask their leaders to implement the 1% net worth program today...write them a letter today saying that you want to do it...will you?...sorry for bringing the mirror up to your face like that ...I know you won't and you know too...sorry...it would be in your enlightened self interest to create such a world for your children and grandchildren...maybe that will make you do it!

to continue...we are enjoying "socialized" postal service...subsidized farming is another word for "socialized"...but "socialized" medicine is taboo?...no! oh kindest people! the way our health care system is right now is a marvelous cash cow for giant corporations and for their "buddies"...our reps in Washington DC...and if we were to try to implement a most cost efficient co-op of health care in this country....be prepared to fight tooth and nail! cause it would mean catastrophic losses for those corporations...even as we slash our health care costs by 50% and are able to provide health care to everyone...yes! even illegal aliens...now that's a whole other issue to deal with...but worth bringing up here as one of the drawbacks we would have to wrangle with...
a commonwealth of health care for all Americans would mean no advertising, marketing, underwriting expenses...more buying power to the co-op...all paid for by our tax dollars...let's spend less on military...stop believing the scare tactics used by the military industrial complex to scare us into spending for very expensive weapons...when our freedom is challenged for real...you will know it!...it hasn't been since 1812!...let us spend 10% less on military and that will cover the cost of health care in this country!
the benefits of such a health care system would be enormous...healthier Americans, with a modest co-pay (to prevent abuse of the system) would be able to have regular check ups...companies would not have to wrangle with health care benefits to their employees
ask around to citizens of other countries that enjoy such health care... see the movie 'Sicko'...realize how the lust for tremendous profit has made our reps in Washington lie to 'we the people'

health care costs in this country are greater because the various health insurance companies compete for business so there are marketing , advertising, underwriting expenses, and then profit...and as well, equipment expenses cost more because each independent health care system has to have their own

if health care were a unified , universal coverage handled by our own tax supported entity, providing coverage for all , there would be no need to spend for all those aforementioned items, and no greedy corporations taking in huge profits, and the equipment would be better used throughout the entire system instead of each competitor having to have their own
so health care cost would be brought down considerably and would be made free for every American...just as our education from kindergarten to high school is right now
I don't believe that we will become commies for doing this as was the main objection put out...to take better care of ourselves... all of us...and all Americans would never have to worry about being disqualified for coverage...or about weasel clauses in the contract with giant insurance companies
the current system is incredibly stupid!...how can anyone be proud to be an American...knowing this!...it is totally shameful!
American's fear of being "commie" is why we ended up being screwed by giant corporations...let that be the lesson here
here is a prime example of the distortion of lobbyists on our reps as they are totally unable to care for Americans...in favor of giant corporations dangling millions of dollars in front of our reps noses...and our reps gladly misleading Americans

the Washington DC culture has the rich and powerful elite making the rules that we all have to follow and buying off our reps to get the rules in their favor and against Americans...even as they spend our tax dollars to buy billboards to tell us "united we stand"

America needs to re-open the 911 commission...without any interference from the administration...it appears that the current administration did not allow the 911 commission to do their job properly...what do they have to hide?!
back in 1997, these people who are currently running things, signed onto a manifesto, claiming their desire to deal with problems in the Middle East in a pre-emptive fashion, and noting that a Pearl Harbor style incident was needed to bring this about
this possibility , that it was an inside job, needs to be quickly eliminated by an unbiased 911 commission...may it be eliminated!
the economy would be so much better with integrity restored in our politics...boot those lobbyists out!...the Tea Pot Dome Scandal of last century illustrates how big oil was able to manipulate Washington DC and things have not changed, in fact, the corruption has become quite institutionalized and now includes our health care system...and the 'no child left behind act' looks like an attempt at bringing our educational system to the same demise
how can an American be proud of his country when this is going on? how can an American fight for leaders?... who line their pockets and care not for 'we the people'... the world... humanity...the ecology...

time is money...is an insult to time...I once read on a billboard
financial problems are also solved by time...today...houses lose value...but gain it back in time...bad investments teach us better ones to be done in time...opportunity will rise in time...so, at this moment...things are not to your liking...compared to what?...another time!
what is your most important thing that you have...time and how you use it...if everything was taken away from you but you can keep one thing?...your memories ...your relations....so now is the time while things are bad...to focus on those things you put off...calling your Mom...your kids...your spouse...your Dad...knowing that, with time will come the opportunities to gain new things
