That's a big one...complex and everything...but don't even think that you can have it without...

an International Entity that is elected and financed by all, and with a mandate to handle all matters of international concern.

and

An International Court with enforcement powers to handle grievances and to assure truthful historical accounting...

you would not consider building a home without a foundation...would you?

without these two tools, you will not have world peace, and nor should you...it is natural law that it should be so

just think! we would finally be able to go after Colonialists and Christianity for all the crap they put humanity through...oh what a sweet day to see justice finally brought to bear!

let's bring justice first, truthful historical accounting, next, then forgive and forget, after...does that resonate with you, oh kindest people?

Is it hard to form an international entity and court? Perhaps and then again, maybe not... but worth it? Absolutely!

and with truthful historical accounting...if we all read the same history books...it would be harder for leaders to convince the people to have fights.

There is absolutely no reason, except perhaps your lack of belief that it could happen, why each and every nation could not elect their representative to the world congress, and as more and more nations do so, and these representatives embark on a campaign to convince the other nations to do so, then there would eventually exist, a world congress, elected by the people of the world.

Third world nations have the absolute most to gain from this initiative as first world nations have absolutely no incentive to do so. Why would they? They are sitting pretty with the current status quo, in which they are enjoying higher standards of living, sort of at the expense of the less fortunate parts of the world. This was set up by colonialism, and it is the descendents of colonialism that are running the show today and that is not right.

The United Nations was invented by these powers to placate the people, even as they continued to consolidate their own power. Even as good as the United Nations has been, it is not a power sharing entity.

A formula could be established, whereby, representatives to a world congress could be based on population, land mass, and GNP, so that each nation would have the proper amount of representation based on these three criteria. Each nation would be responsible for compensating their own representatives.

So, a fledgling world congress of even just a dozen or so representatives could begin as soon as it takes to elect them, and then it would grow from there, if allowed to from the current world powers. These powers may not allow it because they know that it is eventually going to replace them... but the world will be watching as their true colors begin to show...yes!... A wiser world will be watching.

To start the ball rolling, nations can elect just one representative per nation and then, they can implement the formula later, when most of the nations are involved...just so as to get the whole thing started. Like I said earlier, there is absolutely no reason, except your lack of belief, that this cannot be done... and you know deep down inside of you, that this is the fairest way to manage ourselves.
