Oh kindest people!

What a marvelous way to focus your mind on the positive...what a marvelous technique!

use it to bring your mind to gratitude and appreciation for all of His creation

ahh yes! praise the lord

another form for the more secular folk, employs the same principle, but without all the religious banter which some have difficulty with...and it is positive affirmations that you choose to recite for yourself

same thing ...different approach...some find it better to use this...some find it better to use praise the Lord...both are right!

positive sayings like "I'm pretty fly for a white guy" "I am God's gift to women!" "rose petals remain on the path I walk"

all so cool!

just remember it is a technique to bring your mind to focus on positives

beware of those religions that try to convince you that they are the only right way to do this...

it has been my experience, unfortunately, to encounter poor lost souls who have been made to believe that their religion is right and that all others need to be fought against

back in the Eighties, in Avon Park, Florida, christians were outside the mall, where my friends, Jonathan and Judy Finkle were conducting a free introductory lecture on Transcendental Meditation, whereby these christians were handing out flyers warning the passer bys that Transcendental Meditation was stemming from Hinduism.

it is true that Maharishi, who is teaching this beautiful technique for silencing the mind, is, I think, a Hundu, but the technique does not require any set of beliefs...

in fact...it is a technique so powerful, that it has spawned many religions including Christianity! in an indirect way

but these poor christian souls were convinced by their preachers, who's sole interest is to keep from losing his support base...his money..., that we were evil...the stuff the bible warns about...so they come out and spend their precious time handing out flyers

I can assure you...they were not saying "praise the Lord" as they were doing this.

christianity teachs paranoia, fear, hatred...big time...they hate Gays like there's no tomorrow!

they were even getting violent!

they used to come to our meditation center at Lake Lotela and used to drive their cars on our grass in such a way as to tear up the grass...they vandalized our property...one of them punched Jonathan

this had been going on for years!

in 1994, I ran out to confront them and this big fella climbs out of the car as I am explaining the benefits of meditation to them...

I did not think that he would do me harm with so many witnesses...there was about 30 meditators at the course that night...but as he was climbing out of the car... ... ...

you see! the fear and paranoia and hatred that the preachers teach and all because they want to keep hold of their flock for their own financial benefit even as they convince the flock that it is to save their souls
