The research on which Psyleron is founded began twenty-eight years ago at the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research laboratory (PEAR) of Princeton University.  Researchers at the lab asked students and volunteers to attempt to influence the output of a device known as a random event generator without any kind of physical connection.  After accumulating millions of data points across dozens of experiments, the lab came to the conclusion that the output of the devices behaved much differently under the influence of intention than they did when operating alone.  In essence, the labs results suggest that people are somehow able to influence the expected outcomes using only their will.

While these effects are not quite as dramatic as the popularized ideas of moving objects with one’s mind, they are representative of something that science cannot yet explain; a powerful and significant connection between mind and the physical world.  This effect is not built upon anecdote or wishful thinking, but rather the product of years of rigorous scientific exploration.
