Item 17: Renewal, Termination, Transfers, and Dispute Resolution

Renewal

You have perpetual agreement, as long as you pay your royalties for the Freakie Fries name, and you pay all your other obligations such as your share of the advertising and training dues that the Association determines through majority vote. As long as you are a member in good standing as set by the Association and any deficiencies are cured within the allotted time.

Termination

You may leave at any time by simply giving Freakie Fries a notice of two weeks, and removing any proprietary items and signs related to the Freakie Fries Trademark.

Transfers

As long as the transferee meets as yet to be determined our minimum standards as will deemed by the Association. There are no transfer fees, but transferees will be responsible to provide necessary documentations and proof of eligibility.

We will require healthy financial statements and background checks.

A board set up for this by the Association will provide final approval for all applicants.

Training arranged and training fees paid by transferees.

Release signed by franchisee and current agreement signed by transferee.

Dispute Resolution

Arbitration is the preferred method.

The International Franchise Association endorses an independent arbitration service just for franchises called The National Franchise Mediation Program.
